Facebook: Stop Tagging These

Seriously, Facebook – stop tagging your friends in these dumb pictures…Honestly tagging your friends on a sheet of super-heros? How about a bunch of random freakin smiley face people… Not suit your fancy? Maybe tag your friends as different pinup-girls… and that one doesn’t even make sense. How can you gather “the one you can always depend on” from a girl sitting down or “the shy one” from a woman flexing? Yeah lame…but not as lame as some freakin stick figures who were literally assembled in MSPaint…. wow.
So stop filling my home screen news feed with crap like this…quit making facebook another myspace.

lol @ these comments. I simply find it dumb to tag your friends as “Spiderman” and “Captain America”.

I check my FB everyday in hope to get tagged as a pin up girl or superwoman. OH! you see that one which the colorful clay people? I want to be a clay person!!! A bright pink one. Why can’t I be?? nobody loves me… wahhh… j/k ..

The problem really intensifies when you have 20 – 50 friends doing this on a daily basis. it is all bullshit, but then I get 100-200 messages every day about all of the comments being posted on these pictures of “me”. none of this makes any sense, as the majority of the people doing the tagging are just bored and end up wasting a LOT of my time going through one by one and removing all of the tags. Then, the next day, viola! I’ve been tagged by another 10 of these stupid cartoon collages.
enough already. Facebook needs to have a feature to disallow any of your friends from being able to tag you in their pictures.

i agree it is annoying when i get tons of notifications saying “someone has commented on your photo” and then realize its one of those things and not really a photo of me! Defiantly annoying but whatever people are going to do what they want and clearly get super offended when you tell them your opinion [and insulting! some of those comments are unnecessarily rude].
although i have to admit i was tagged in one that was music notes and it was actually pretty clever! however most of the time they aren’t that fantastic.

But I can understand where Rants&Raves is coming from and how it can get terribly annoying if you have to deal with all of that while trying to root through comments and other things that other ppl put that are actually about you personally. Me myself, I like being tagged in things cuz its not a thousand a day so I say for me… keep it up friends. And for ppl like Rants&raves, come up with a feature that you can disable yourself from being tagged in certain things

The changes that Facebook has made in the past few months has pretty much made these problems a thing of the past and lumps them together with “X amount of your friends have been tagged in a photo” news feed posts.
