So AJ Baker and I are taking a road trip to Dallas, TX to watch Katie play some softball. This is the trip we have set out before us:

‘08 Dallas Trip Map
Summary
We’re back. The trip went smoothly. Rained and sleeted and snowed all the way to Dallas (go figure, huh? might be the first time texas has ever seen snow judging by the way the state absolutely shut down with 1″ of snow) Averaged about 29mpg in the Fusion there and 27mpg on the way back. Got there with about 60 miles to empty and got back with 1 mile to empty…could be the fact that I did about 65mph going and about 75mph coming back.
The Magellan RoadMate 700 GPS broke too. Boo for Magellan. The screen would short in and out and restart and finally wouldn’t turn on again. Thanks alot, Magellan. The thing is probably about 3.5 years old too. Not that old…

The Music
We’ll be taking my laptop for entertainment…I’ve got over 10,000 MP3’s from my CD collection on it, but we’re not taking it to listen to music… we make it! It’s tradition to make rap music on any road trips taken to or from Dallas…this is what we made last time.
