Arcade Fire is a group from Montreal, Quebec, Canada. They’ve been around since about 2003. Their latest album, Neon Bible, was released on March 5, ’07. The groups first album, Funeral, had earned them enough money for them to purchase a dilapidated church for which to record Neon Bible in. One source has reported Neon Bible to sound like a “end-of-days revival meeting in a flooded bunker.” (1) Arcade Fire is known for their incredible live shows and their plethora of instruments. If you liked Funeral, then this album is for you. I’d suggest listening to a few tracks in the iTunes music store to see if this is your style of music before going out and buying it.
