Electronic Drums?
By Rants&Raves on May 15, 2006 in Electronics, Hardware, Personal
Thought crossed my mind about some electronic drums…doubt I’ll get them, but it’s nice to think about them. Here are some affordable sets (sub $1,000) and I’m not sure the possibilities – but I’d like to be able to hook it up via USB maybe and use files off of the computer as drum hits for specific pads. (make sense?) And I imagine I’m going to have to spend some more moolah for that feature (if it exists). I think HERE is something I’m looking for (for use with an existing drum set)
Yamaha DTXplorer – $850
Roland TD3SW V-Compact – $995
Alesis DM5KIT – $499 (most reasonable and likely)
And If I win the lottery…
Roland TD20S V-Pro Series – $5,595
If you feel like spending a couple hundred on me, buy me one of these.
Hey there.
Did you end up getting one of these. I’m interested to hear what you thought of them.
Thanks
Chris
