A company that has made DVD copying software for some time has officially cracked the BD+ protection on Blu-ray discs. Slysoft AnyDVD (HD) 6.4.0.0.

When walking through the checkout process I was immediately bundled with like 5 other software titles. This ticked me off as did the fact that US Dollars wasn’t shown until like step 3 or 4. I’m not really even sure I picked the right software in the end…I picked “AnyDVD” and the “AnyDVD HD Option”. Seriously? It’s shown as it’s own box on the front page.

Grand total? 79 EUR. With the gracious -%20 Easter discount it brought it down to 63 EUR which is still $94. Way too expensive for my blood. Not to mention I don’t have a Blu-Ray burner… All in all – very unpleasant website and purchasing walk-through experience.

So if you’ve got the money to afford a DVD burner and the blank Blu-Ray discs then your in luck!
