Brandi Carlile is a singer-songwriter from Washington. She plays with Tim and Phil Hanseroth (twin brothers). Her influences include Indigo Girls, Radiohead, Elton John and a few others. To put it simply, her style is “Patsy Cline fronting Coldplay.” Very clean acoustic guitars and piano and feel-good lyrics make her a must-buy. A favorite CD of mine already and I’ve only had it a few days. Go to iTunes and preview this CD. It’s an incredible CD and has actually replaced one of the RHCP CD’s in my CD changer.
