Clocky!

Clocky!

How many times can you say you’ve hit the snooze button in the morning one too many times and were late to work/school/meeting/appointment (yeah you know what I’m talking about) because of it? Do you happen to be one of those people who are afraid to hit the snooze button in fear of sleeping in? You may have thought yourself creative by turning off the snooze feature on your cellphone or by putting your alarm clock on the other side of the room… but have you ever thought you might have to get out of bed and chase down your alarm clock to turn it off? Enter Clocky stage left.

Katie wrote a post about Clocky a while back and since I liked it so much I figured I’d write one of my own. Clocky is an alarm clock that may seem “cute” and harmless at first, but when this little hellion goes off in the morning you’ll never see him that way again. Clocky is designed to roll on it’s wheels off your nightstand and onto the floor when his alarm goes off. This will force you to have to get out of bed and chase him down in order to turn him off. And there’s no sleeping through his alarm because it’s an unholy sound…possibly the most annoying sound ever (think an army of R2D2’s). All in all Clocky makes a fun present for someone or a great alarm clock for yourself if you have trouble getting out of bed. Clocky will run you about $50 from Thinkgeek and from the original creator’s website Nadahome.
