In a nutshell: If you’re a fan of electronic, give it a listen

Daft Punk - Alive

This is a live album by Daft Punk. Daft Punk is a band consisting of 2 members, Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo (yeah we know, it’s a mouthful…) and Thomas Bangalter. If you haven’t heard of Daft Punk then you really don’t know anything about electronic music. They are credited with creating “essential” songs in the French house music scene.

Alive is Daft Punk’s second live album. It contains music from their concert in Paris on the Alive 2007 tour. If you buy the CD (as opposed to a digital download) you’ll also get a handsome 50-page book of photographs taken from the tour. It contains live performances of a lot of their more popular songs such as “Robot Rock” “Techologic” and “Human After All”.

If you’re a fan of Fischerspooner or laid back electronic music you might want to give Daft Punk a listen.
