I just found this article on www.ign.com and almost crapped my pants. This is the best news I’ve ever heard. Chances are though that if it takes after it’s parent game (Gran Turismo 4 for PS2) it won’t be coming out for a while…like months and months after it’s supposed to be released.

Every other racer on the PSP stands in the shadow of this one. Even if you are not a sim fan and prefer more carnage-filled racing games, Gran Turismo, it always looks phenomenal, and this iteration of the Polyphony Digital champion title should push PSP to the limit. The game follows the design and construction of the PS2 game, but expect to see a game tailored for the handheld. And even though the online element was left out of the console version, PSP owners will have wi-fi connectivity for heated multiplayer races and perhaps even be able to connect to HotSpots for online PSP play. We’re not sure if the little PSP sibling is meant to compliment or emulate its big brother on PS2, but it will be one of the most sought-after handheld games however the game ends up.
