It’s official! The SDK is coming to the iPhone in the next release. Developers will be able to create applications with ease and the “Application Store” on your iPhone will allow for easy installation. I like that they’re opening up their phone with the SDK but I don’t like that they’re trying to keep a short leash on the iPhone by making the applications available only through the Application Store. I have a feeling there will be a work around for putting them onto your own device not long after release (I hope…)

Other immense changes are coming in form of Microsoft Exchange support and security protection to better suit the iPhone for enterprise.
