Buy?: If you’re a post-grunge fan, this is the cream of the crop

So this is not a new album by a long shot… in fact I’m sure most of you have probably heard “Possum Kingdom” if you were born in the 80’s…Rubberneck was released in August of ’94. Yeah that’s right. ’94. I was in the 4th grade at the time so it’s no surprise that I didn’t get to enjoy the band while it was around/popular. Post-grunge is a little bit like the grunge movement but a bit more radio-playable. Think 90’s alternative like Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Filter, Tantric, Marcy’s Playground…ok, well you get the idea. And the Toadies are not far off. The album reached gold in ’95 and went fully platinum in ’96. The most popular track on the album “Possum Kingdom” actually made it’s way to the Xbox version of Guitar Hero! It’s a relatively short album at 36 minutes but hey…it’s awesome the whole way through! Buy it.
